TELECONFERENCING

Dear All,

I just wanted to share with you an exciting new means of communication and connection for ISECN. Teleconferences!

Last Wednesday, five of us (myself, Torill Bull (Communciations/Europe), Calvin de los Reyes (Asia), Pius Attandoh (Africa), and Lauren Cordwell (Oceania)) piloted the idea. We took some time to reflect on Vancouver. We made plans to follow-up with the IUHPE about our General Assembly Resolutions. We talked about a poster that Calvin and Torill have been working on a poster that we may all have access to for presenting our Network at conferences. We also discussed the work of the Communication Working Group, headed up by Torill. Please see the attached summary to track the fantastic progress there.

We also discussed having a regular quarterly schedule of teleconferences. We were just testing the waters this last time but it seems SKYPE as the ability to conference many more people! The next teleconference will be sometime in December. If you are interested in joining the conversation, just drop me a note with your SKYPE username! For those of you who can not join, for whatever reason, we will send out more precise minutes in the future.
